Debbie received her CGA designation in 1989 and trained with KPMG in Vancouver, B.C.. With over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, she first served as the C.F.O. of a national real estate franchise and later worked as a contractor for various real estate brokerages and franchises. Up until October 2008, she was with Borran Technologies Inc., where she was involved in financial acquisitions, day-to-day operations, training, support, and all aspects of the company. Debbie initially started D.M. Foot & Co., Chartered Professional Accountant, in her basement, which grew to several employees and an office space in Langley, B.C.! Since August 2024, it has been a pleasure for her to see the firm evolve into DFRZ Accounting Group LLP. Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys spending time in her garden with her cat, Lewis, and her grandchildren.
Renee obtained her CGA designation in 1998 and brings over 25 years of experience in accounting for small to medium-sized enterprises, as well as the preparation of personal income tax returns and estate planning. Since joining D.M. Foot & Co., Chartered Professional Accountant, in 2012, she has been instrumental in the firm’s evolution into DFRZ Accounting Group LLP, where she became a partner in August 2024. The collaborative office model, focused on supporting clients in achieving their business goals, has been a key factor in the firm’s growth and success. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her very energetic black lab.
For nearly two decades, Peter has worked in the accounting and finance industry, providing financial expertise and strategic guidance to a diverse range of clients. After earning his CA designation in 2006, he has had detailed experience in corporate tax, assurance, and financial reporting throughout the Fraser Valley. He is committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships. When he is not in the office, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his dog, Harrison.
Tara received her certificate in Business Management in 1994 and held a bookkeeping position at an electrical consulting firm in B.C. before moving to New Brunswick. She lived there for sixteen years, spending fourteen of those years working for a trucking company where she handled all aspects of bookkeeping, office administration, and management tasks. She returned to British Columbia ten years ago and then, began her journey with D.M. Foot & Co.! She looks forward to continuing to grow with DFRZ Accounting Group LLP. Outside the office, she enjoys volunteering her time with BC Job's Daughters, The H.I.K.E. Fund Canada, and her church.
Varissa has been an integral part of the office for nearly 10 years, taking on various roles and responsibilities. As the primary point of contact, she has consistently provided exceptional service to clients. She holds both a legal certificate and a bookkeeping certificate, but she believes her most valuable learning has come from her hands-on experience in the office, with having worked in the legal world and now accounting. Currently, she is on maternity leave and expects to return in early 2026! She enjoys spending time with her family and looks forward to being busy in a different way for now.
After 11 years in the restaurant industry, Hailey decided to make a significant change and obtain her bookkeeping certification, which she received in December 2020. In January 2021, she joined R.J. Leger CPA Ltd. and has had the pleasure of learning valuable skills from her coworkers since then. She is excited to continue this journey with DFRZ Accounting Group LLP. In her downtime, she likes to read and enjoys playing cozy video games while spending time with her family.
Jaskirat holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from KPU, which she completed in 2023. She joined DFRZ in August 2024, bringing with her over two years of experience from a bookkeeping firm, where she honed her skills in bookkeeping. Her background has provided her with a solid understanding of accounting principles and client relations, enabling her to contribute effectively to team objectives. She is excited to continue leveraging her expertise at DFRZ Accounting Group LLP and embrace new challenges that will contribute to both her professional growth, and the success of the organization. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
Danica joined the firm in October 2023 and is a student at KPU, working towards her Bachelor of Business Administration, and eventually her CPA designation. At the office, Danica provides administrative support, and her friendly and outgoing personality is quite often the first voice you hear! She is excited to grow her career and learning experience at DFRZ Accounting Group LLP. While not in the office, or at campus, she enjoys reading and finding new places to hang out with friends.
Pawan has recently joined DFRZ Accounting Group LLP! She completed her B.SC. in Business Information Systems in 2002. Over the years, she has worked for several different companies but took some time off to stay at home and raise her two boys. During this period, she volunteered for various roles with the school PAC and the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association. Currently, she serves as the PAC treasurer and is an admin/bookkeeper at DFRZ Accounting.
Amanda is our newest member of the team, working in the Mission office! She is assisting in day-to-day operations and is eager to continue growing within her position. She looks forward to expanding her career with DFRZ Accounting Group LLP. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her twin girls and reading.
Ron earned his C.G.A. designation in 1988 and previously owned R.J. Leger CPA Ltd. in Mission. He has actively contributed to his community through various organizations, including Big Brothers, the Kinsmen Club of Abbotsford, and the Rotary Club, where he served as treasurer and vice president. His involvement also includes the Mission Historical Society and St. Joseph’s Food Bank, where he was a donor and played a key role in building the facility. He has held directorial and treasurer roles at the Fraser House Society and Mission Skills Training Society. His dedication to community service has been recognized with several awards, including the Freeman of the City of Mission (2014), the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), and the Paul Harris Award from the Rotary Club (2003-2022). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Mary’s University, a certificate in Biblical Studies, and both CGA and CPA designations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his curling team and has embraced travelling.
